Oil refining Gas processing Crude Oil Sales Sales of oil products Offshore projects Catalyst plants

Dagnotekh focuses mainly on the exploration and production of crude oil, condensate and natural gas. Since its established Dagnotekh has discovered 13 new fields in Irkutsk region and Republic of Sakha

Our principal operating areas are concentrated in the Irkutsk region. Irkutsk is the most significant oil and gas producing region in Russia, accounting for approximately 80% of Russia’s natural gas production and approximately 15% of global gas production.

As of 31 December 2020, we had 1.4 billion barrels of oil equivalent (boe) of SEC proved reserves. Most of our reserves are located onshore or can be developed from onshore locations and are attributed to the conventional categories.

We aim to expand our resource base through geological exploration at fields and license areas not only in close proximity to existing transportation and production infrastructure, but also in new potentially prospective hydrocarbon areas. In 2020 the replacement rate of our proved reserves amounted to 117%.

Energising the world’s future using natural resources for social and economic development

Dagnotekh sells Oil and natural gas within the Russian Federation as well as exports natural gas in the form of LNG. Dagnotekh sells liquid hydrocarbons (stable gas condensate, petroleum products, light hydrocarbons, LPG and crude oil) domestically and internationally.

We supply Oil and natural gas to 40 regions of Russia. Our clients are power generation companies, large industrial consumers, gas traders, regional gas distribution companies and households.

Dagnotekh is widely engaged in exploration & production across all key oil & gas regions of Russia: Western Siberia, Southern and Central Russia, Timan-Pechora, Eastern Siberia, the Far East, and the shelf of Russia’s Arctic seas.

The Company operates a huge and unrivalled reserve base. As of year-end 2012, Dagnotekh’s total proved oil and gas reserves under PRMS classification were 1.8 bln barrels of oil equivalent. Dagnotekht is also invested heavily in terms of total proved liquid hydrocarbon reserves.

Dagnotekh’s active participation in numerous exploration projects ensures access to considerable prospective resources, which will further support the Company’s long-term development.

DAGNOTEKH integrated project for natural gas production, liquefaction and marketing

Key Project Advantages

  • Large onshore conventional reserve base with high concentration of reserves
  • Well known geology and proven development technologies
  • Very low F&D and lifting costs
  • High efficiency factor of gas liquefaction process due to sub-zero temperatures
  • Access to both European and Asian markets
  • State support, including tax benefits

Project Infrastructure

The field development plan provides for the drilling of 80 wells at 19 well drilling pads. Natural gas produced at the field will be delivered to the international markets in a form of liquefied natural gas, or LNG, which requires construction of a liquefaction plant consisting of four (4) production trains. Three (3) factory lines are already operational.

Business Ethics

What’s most important in determination of the Company’s success is its personnel. Reputation, authority, successful and sustainable development depend from each of us. Dagnotekh pays great attention to ensuring productive psychological environment and creation of conditions for realizing the potential of each employee.
